Once we submit a port request, it is up to the losing carrier to release the number. This varies from under 24 hours up to a week. We can usually tell you as soon as we submit the port request.

To ensure zero downtime, you can request a temporary number to which phone calls are forwarded while we program your phones. This can also help you if you are eager to get the new system up and running, but your number has not ported.
